(01) Challenge
What stood in the way
Offshore wind was being curtailed on windy nights because the local network could not carry the power inland. The site had a 200 MW connection but very little space.
(02) Solution
What we built
A four-hour storage hub on a compact estuary site, with grid-forming inverters that also support network stability. The system charges from surplus wind and returns energy at the evening peak.
